Why we call it the X100 Forest Restoration Box
At Nature’s Partners, we have endeavored to simplify a small but meaningful Restoration Project Kit. This kit and system template can be easily completed by anyone interested in learning about nature, experiencing nature, and simultaneously restoring nature. Each 100 x 100 meter plot receives the X100 Project Kit, which includes all the tree seedlings, native food plants, and native heirloom herbs and perennial plants, as well as seeds and nuts needed. A planting and restoration activity book will be provided to each volunteer participant. This Good Stewards Handbook describes all of the roles people can play within the project group to bring the necessary people and skills together. The handbooks are keyed to further learning modules in forest sustainability subjects, such as Wildcrafting, Seed Saving, Mushroom Hunting, Wild Plant Foraging, and Hunting for Heirloom Propagation Candidates. The X100 Forest Restoration Box is a measured combination of the best restoration seeds and plants available, calculated for a standard-sized restoration plot of 100 x 100 meters. By creating this consistent kit for projects, we can easily assemble the boxes at herbal tea and coffee meetups for planning, socializing, and seed saving.

In Youth Language – Nature’s Partners is giving out a special box with all the things you need to make a place in the forest park trails or wild space outside more like how it used to be. There are little trees, plants that animals like to eat, and special plants that were here a long time ago that were very important to the wildlife. We also have a special book to help you learn about nature and how to take care of the forest. There are many even fun things to do like collecting seeds and finding mushrooms. And we can get together and talk about it while we drink tea and coffee. This box is specially matched to the forest type and highest value plants, so it’s easy to work together and make your local nature even better!
In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.” – Alice Walker

These modules cover various topics such as Wildcrafting, Seed Saving, Mushroom Hunting, Wild Plant Foraging, and Hunting for Heirloom Propagation Candidates.

This box is designed by local experts from the Good Stewards Team and it contains a carefully measured combination of the best restoration seeds and plants available, specifically calculated for a 100 x 100 meter plot of land. This ensures that each project receives a consistent and well-balanced mix of plants and seeds for optimal restoration results.
At Nature’s Partners, we understand the importance of community involvement in restoration projects. That’s why we have made it easy to assemble the X100 Forest Restoration Boxes during herbal tea and coffee meetups. These meetups not only serve as a way to plan and organize restoration projects, but also to socialize and learn about seed saving and other sustainable practices.
We believe that this Restoration Project Kit is an excellent way for individuals and communities to make a tangible and positive impact on the environment. By restoring one plot of land at a time, we can collectively make a significant difference in preserving and restoring nature.
So, whether you’re a seasoned environmentalist or someone with a newfound interest in nature, we invite you to join us in our mission to restore the earth. With our X100 Project Kit, anyone can be a part of restoring our planet, one plot at a time. Let’s work together to make our world a greener and healthier place for generations to come.
Joining in And Enjoy Meeting the Good Stewards of The Forest
Not what we have, but what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance.” – John Petit-Senn
Imagine that all the animals in the forest have a big party every day. But just like how you need healthy food to feel strong and happy, the animals also need a special kind of healthy food to stay strong and happy. This special food is found in the forest, and it’s made up of lots of different plants and herbs that help the animals stay healthy and feel better if they ever get sick. So, when we take care of the forest and make sure it has lots of different plants and herbs, we are making sure that the animals have a never-ending party with yummy food that keeps them strong and healthy!
