Danger on the roads for the whole family of wildlife! What can we do to help??
Tragic endings to the search for food and medicinal herbs
Early in life Fauns need their Mothers care to be taught how and where to eat the right foods and herbs to fight diseases and stay nourished.
Unfortunately a Doe being killed can lead to the death of her infants due to immaturity and dangers in abundance! These orphans of the forest have very little chance of survival and even if they survive have not received mothers trainings and therefore have greatly reduced life expectancy!
Baby Deer are very trusting of Humans, and often approach people when looking for food
Kind Humans often Rescue baby deer fauns when they tragically loose their mothers to roadside dangers wild dogs or other preditors. If a deer is not at peak health from proper nutrition then preditation can be imminent! Mother deer ward off big preditors and teach the fauns to hide and forage safely. Fauns seperated from their mothers are easy prey for opportunistic predators from coons on up to bears.

When the forest has good plant diversity then that same space of forest can sustain far more healthy deer and a much bigger population of wildlife! Lack of forest nutrition and medicinal herbs is the driving cause of wildlife decline and there is nothing being done to adress that wildlife emergency! Natures Partners is a non-profit organization dedicated to “Putting the Food and Medicinal Herbs Back into the Forest” Natures Partners is drafting legislation that would act as an emergency responce to this lack of “Wildlife Healthcare” with pratctical projects designed to plant essential palnts and herbs into open and availabel areas on the borders of monoculture timber forests and comminity wild spaces!
